ARTISTS APPLICATION

There is a $10.00 fee for adult artists who participate in the festival. Artists must submit their resume and samples of work in order to qualify for acceptance in the festival. All work must be submitted by June 5, 2009. (Please see the rules for youth arts contests).
The intent of this festival is to showcase original artists work or presentations; as a result, printed art work will be allowed only if the artist is exhibiting their own works of art. Other commercial art, commercial clothing and sale of music other than that produced by

the artist exhibiting at the festival will be prohibited.
Please submit no more than 3 samples of your work. The Triple "A" Festival will not return any samples or CD's. (slides will not be accepted).
Please label your work with your name, year, medium and approximate size of your piece.
You will be provided with 1- 8' Table and 2 chairs. You will be required to provide your own tent or electrical units. If you will be using a generator, you must specify make, model and amps of the unit to be used.

Load in will begin at 7:00 a.m. the morning of the festival, June 13, 2009. Artist is responsible for any work displayed. The Town of Oakland, Hapco Music Foundation, nor Cando Event Planning any of their associates, affiliates or assigns are liable for injury, or any items, lost, stolen, or otherwise destroyed relative to the display, performance or activity of the Artists. Artist perform and display at their own risk. Artist is requested to remove any display or trash items in their display area upon their departure from the festival.This is a family activity and all material will be screened for audience appropriateness. Any artist who displays or performs material deemed inappropriate will be asked to refrain from displaying or performing such material. Failure to adhere to the request for removal will result in artist being escorted from the festival.
